join the party, it’s totally FREE!!!

The festival will be opened in Marcus Garvey

Library on Saturday 10th September 2011

from 10.00am ‘til 4.00pm, and events will continue

throughout the week until the next Saturday!

What is Haringey Children’s Literature Festival?

We are all about promoting children’s literacy by creating

a fun, stimulating and cultural event, accessible to all, for FREE!!!

What is going to be there? How about fantastic characters coming to life, authors reading bits from their new books, writing workshops and illustration workshops and a live performance by Handprint Theatre!

As if that’s not enough, there will also be oodles of fun activities going on in the Word Play Area, and opportunities to buy the authors’ books and get them signed in the Super Signings Tent!  Plus - we’ve got loads more to come and many tricks up our sleeve...
